Things to buy: (this is worse case scenario as we're trying to do this in "one day") (Prices are just quick web finds, I'm sure they can be found cheaper)  1st 3 are "quick & easy"

  1. Head Gasket set (11 12 9 059 238 about $125)
  2. Special 3mm head gasket (11121730224 $110) (why is the single gasket almost as much as the set?)
  3. Head Bolts (11 12 0 621 144 about $3 each)
  4. Exhaust Manifold Gaskets w/ heat shield (2 of 11621723656 @ $20)
  5. Cam (11 31 1 287 606 about $300)  Rocker arms/cam gear (only if needed)
  6. Intake manifold gaskets (6 of 11611726016 @ $1.50)
  7. Fuel Injectors (6 of 13641726988 @ $70)
  8. Timing Chain (11 31 1 716 986 about $30)
  9. Timing chain tensioner kit (11 31 1 744 KIT about $40)
  10. Hylomar & silicon sealer.
