Here's a little bit about my F100. It was a birthday gift to me from my wife.

I was told it has a 390 in it. the engine looks like it has been rebuilt/replaced, so it's impossible to tell for sure (w/o measuring the stroke) if it does have a 390 or the original 360.  It has a 2V carb on it; witch actually does all right.  It gets about 8mpg though.  I rebuilt the carb, and checked the timing.  Still crappy gas mileage.  The point system was replaced with "The ignitor" from Pertronix, an electronic ignition that is based solely in the distributor cap.

The down sides to this beast is that it's got manual steering, and it's got a single range transfer case.  The gas gauge doesn't work right either.  The original optional tank (under the bed) is missing, but does have one behind the seat.

The paint appears to be original. The outside matches the door jams and the engine interior (& the VIN decodes to white as well).

The non stock items: electronic ignition, 4" (new) Rancho suspension, roll bar, headers, 2" exhaust, flowmaster mufflers.

Enough of that, on with the pics:  (I have questions, and "parts needed" below for Ford Truck Folks that might be able to help me)

I've gotten a lot of great advice from the folk on the Ford Truck list. Visit them at www.ford-trucks.com.  I host the "Pacific Northwest Ford" list...
