This picture is us coming out of the water at La Jolla
Cove. This is the 2nd day of diving; the 1st day we did La Jolla
Shores; right up to a canyon -- I learned quickly here why boyancy control
is CRUCIAL-- as you go down deeper; you sink faster; you sink
too fast too far; you die. Anyway; not to scare anyone; Rod was an
excellent teacher (I ended up private lessons because mom & dad
dropped out -- BONUS)
On this picture; we're coming out; and I saw the rare endangered Giant
Black Sea Bass -- WAY COOL! and lots of lobsters -- it's a marine
preserve; so don't think about it.
We were to do a 2nd dive this day; but it picked up too much; which is
cool;
because
I got to LEAD a dive! (well; it was a test, but I passed -- underwater
navigation!) Here I am after that dive; a bit more work; but it was
fun -- that's my dive buddy-ette and Rod.
